Lake Tamblingan 坦布林根湖

Lake Tamblingan, situated in the Northern part of Bali, is one of three twin lakes formed in a large caldera. Its location in the valley makes it slightly cooler than an average Bali destination, yet incredibly beautiful, especially at sunrise. Lake Tamblingan is surrounded by dense rainforest and the settlements around are designated as a spiritual tourism area protected from modern development by the government. Lake Tamblingan is surrounded by many ancient Balinese temples. The many temples surrounding the lake are associated with the ancient Tamblingan civilization. We only looked at one during our trip here and it was Pura Hulun Danu Tamblingan.

坦布林根湖(Tamblingan)是双湖之一，坦布林根湖位于布拉坦湖西北面，在两湖的湖畔，有几个小村庄和一些古庙。很多巴厘岛本地人也把这里称之为双子湖而日益在网络上火爆起来，另一个湖是布扬湖（Buyan湖),它们都位于巴都考火山（Gunung Batur）火山的火山口，现在已经是死火山了。这两个湖泊汇集形成了一个湖泊，直到1800年左右，山体滑坡形成两公里长的山脊，把它们一分为二。
